Job Summary 

The Officer, IPQA supports in-process quality assurance activities in manufacturing. This role includes monitoring production processes conducting sampling and in-process checks reviewing manufacturing and packaging records and performing area and machine clearance. The officer ensures compliance with cGMP standards, supports documentation, calibration, material handling and deviation management. The goal is to ensure all manufactured products meet specifications and regulatory expectations consistently.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Help create activities, procedures and standards for in-process quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing while making sure everything follows cGMP rules.

  • Help keep quality systems and infrastructure in shape to help release compliant pharmaceutical products on time.

  • Take part in checking and auditing manufacturing processes. Results to make sure everything follows internal rules and legal requirements.

  • Help develop and keep workflows, procedures, policies and inspection programs inside the IPQA department.

  • Help with in-process quality checks and work with vendors and outside partners on quality-related tasks.

  • Help look into, report and fix problems that happen during manufacturing issues with the process and defects in products.

  • Help get ready, for Annual Product Quality Review (APQR) reports. Keep quality records as required by 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211.

  • Help with change-control and deviation-management tasks when working with quality staff.

  • Take part in looking at product complaints. Recalls and help put the right Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) into place.

Educational Qualification 

  • B.Pharm degree is required,

  • M.Pharm candidates would be most preferred

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of pharmaceutical experience.
