 Job Summary  

This role sits within Accenture's Pharmacovigilance Operations team, focused on drug safety surveillance. As an Associate, you will manage safety case processing and support affiliate mailbox reconciliation for serious and non serious reports. Your work will follow client guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements. The role involves solving routine problems by following set guidelines, with regular support from your team and supervisor.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage reconciliation of reports through the Affiliate Mailbox process.

  • Carry out written follow up attempts for both serious and non serious cases.

  • Create and manage case identification for Individual Case Safety Reports.

  • Handle data entry and MedDRA coding for safety cases.

  • Process and submit ICSRs in the safety database, following client guidelines.

  • Manage follow ups on safety cases as required by regulations.

  • Solve routine problems using set guidelines and established precedents.

  • Work closely with your team and direct supervisor on daily tasks.

  • Follow detailed instructions for new assignments and daily work.

  • Take ownership of your own work as part of a focused team.

  • Be available to work in rotational shifts, if required.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Any graduate degree is accepted for this role, though a background in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety surveillance.

  • Good understanding of MedDRA coding and safety database processes.

  • Strong attention to detail in case processing and documentation.

  • Ability to follow set guidelines and work within a structured process.

  • Good communication skills to coordinate with your team and supervisor.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if the role requires it.
