 Job Summary  

This role sits within ICON's Project Operations team, based in Bangalore. As a Project Analyst I, you will support assigned project tasks while building skills alongside senior team members and clinical teams. Your work will include supplier management, risk identification, and financial tracking on assigned tasks. The role also involves supporting TMF reviews, recruitment forecasting, and data quality resolution across ongoing projects.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform assigned project tasks, following timelines, SOPs, and performance metric standards.

  • Select and manage suppliers and other resources for assigned tasks, with guidance.

  • Identify risks on assigned tasks and support strategies to reduce them.

  • Support project meetings, issue resolution, recaps, and corrective action plans.

  • Understand and take ownership of specific portions of the project scope.

  • Spot scope creep on assigned tasks and flag it appropriately.

  • Track and maintain accurate financial data for assigned tasks and projects.

  • Communicate regularly with senior project team members on task progress.

  • Approve vendor invoices as part of project financial activities.

  • Review the Trial Master File for inspection readiness and submit checklists.

  • Perform quality control and quality review activities for the eTMF.

  • Support recruitment forecast setup and ongoing maintenance.

  • Enter key milestone dates into the project milestone tracker.

  • Support communication, recruitment, retention, and training plans for the project.

  • Help ensure project information is uploaded correctly into internal systems.

  • Support resolution of data quality queries within assigned categories.

  • Support traffic light reporting related to source data verification.

  • Support periodic review of operations data, quality, and delivery risks.

  • Help clean up and close projects within internal systems.

  • Ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive actions for identified issues.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A degree in life sciences, business, or a related field, alongside relevant project support experience.

 Skills Required 

  • A proactive, hands on problem solving approach.

  • Good at speaking and writing in English with communication abilities.

  • Focuses on processes pays attention to details and keeps things organized.

  • Can handle different tasks at the same time working on their own or, with others.

  • Thinks logically and have good skills when looking at data and reviewing it carefully.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
