 Job Summary  

This hybrid role is based in Gurugram and suits doctors with an MBBS degree. As a Safety Physician, you will review adverse events reported for trial medicines and marketed products. You will work closely with the safety and pharmacovigilance team to make sure each case is judged fairly and correctly. Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Review adverse events reported for trial medicines and marketed products.

  • Use MedDRA, WHO DRL, and safety databases such as Argus.

  • Work with safety and pharmacovigilance colleagues to keep case assessments consistent.

  • Follow all rules and SOPs when judging and reporting safety information.

  • Spot possible safety problems and share them clearly with the right people.

  • Talk to the client's safety and medical staff when needed.

  • Stay updated on clinical and drug development news linked to your projects.

  • Review and explain safety data in reports like annual safety reports and PSURs.

  • Keep your medical and pharmacovigilance knowledge fresh through ongoing learning.

  • Guide and train other safety team members, including case processing staff.

 Educational Qualification 

  • An MBBS degree from a recognised university is the basic qualification for this position.

 Skills Required 

  • Good knowledge of MedDRA, WHO DRL, and safety databases such as Argus.

  • Strong medical judgment to review adverse event cases.

  • Good understanding of pharmacovigilance rules and reporting timelines.

  • Clear communication skills to work with clients and team members.

  • Ability to explain safety data in aggregate reports.

  • Willingness to mentor and train other team members.
