 Job Summary 

The Senior Operator Production role is open at the Cipla Rangpo plant in Sikkim. You will run production equipment safely and follow SOPs and GMP rules. You will work to meet shift targets, fill batch records on time and keep the area clean and audit ready. You will also train workmen and share ideas to improve the process.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Run the equipment as per SOP without errors so that shift targets are met.

  • Do all unit operations as per the batch manufacturing record.

  • Use the available resources well to complete production in every shift.

  • Keep the equipment, facility and block clean and ready for audits.

  • Find mistakes in the area and in documents and fix them on time.

  • Share new ideas to improve production and reduce waste of consumables.

  • Fill online documents and BMR entries on time as per cGMP rules.

  • Check all documents before submission to keep the data correct.

  • Train workmen on cGMP, equipment use, safety and housekeeping.

  • Make sure workmen wear and take care of their safety gear during shifts.

  • Report any near miss to the officer in charge without delay.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Diploma in Pharmacy or Mechanical.

  • 1 to 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing company, and pharma experience is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • Good knowledge of SOPs, GMP and cGMP rules.

  • Skill to run and care for production equipment.

  • Careful and correct record keeping in BMR and other documents.

  • Strong focus on safety, cleanliness and housekeeping.

  • Clear talk with team members, especially between shifts.

  • Ability to train and guide workmen.

  • Good planning to use time and resources well.

  • Problem solving skills and a habit of suggesting better ways to work.
