 Job Summary  

This fully remote role supports the Supply and Logistics Project Manager in building and applying study specific supply chain strategies. As a Supply and Logistics Specialist, you will manage sourcing, distribution, and technical logistics for clinical trial supply projects. Your work will ensure on time, on budget delivery, in compliance with ICH GCP and GxP guidelines. The role also involves mentoring junior clinical supply team members.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Work with the Project Manager to develop logistics concepts and solutions.

  • Track study progress to keep timelines and budgets on schedule.

  • Manage and communicate risks or changes clearly to the wider team.

  • Maintain required study specific management tools and documentation.

  • Manage assigned project resources to meet study requirements.

  • Track and report Pass the Costs for internal and external services.

  • Build clinical supply, sourcing, and distribution strategies with key stakeholders.

  • Communicate and negotiate scope of work with third party providers.

  • Plan inventory based on strategy, quantities, and demand forecasts.

  • Develop supply schedules and adjust them based on study progress.

  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.

  • Mentor Clinical Supply Specialists and Clinical Supply Assistants, for senior level roles.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent such as a Pharm.D., pharmacy, or another health related field, international trade, business administration, or logistics.

 Skills Required 

  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or consulting industry.

  • Strong experience in clinical logistics or a related biopharmaceutical field.

  • Prior project management experience.

  • Strong understanding of cross functional activities and multinational work environments.

  • Client focused approach with strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

  • Good understanding of the GxP regulatory framework.

  • Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
