Dentist Resume Format (BDS & MDS)
Clinic owners and hospital dental departments want to know which procedures you do independently and how many. This format puts your Dental Council registration and your procedure list front and centre.
Example Dentist resume
BDS dental surgeon with 3 years of clinic experience, independently performing RCTs, extractions, restorations and crown preparations for 15 to 20 patients a day. Careful with sterilisation and comfortable running a chair alone.
- Perform 30+ RCTs a month, including rotary and single-visit endodontics
- See 15 to 20 patients a day across consultations, restorations and extractions
- Planned crown and bridge work with external labs
The person and numbers in this example are made up. Your own resume can use any of the four designs and seven colours.

What should a BDS fresher put in a resume?+
Your internship postings by department, procedures performed during internship, Dental Council registration, BLS, any short courses and your BDS details.
Should dentists list the number of procedures?+
Yes. A rough monthly number for RCTs, extractions and restorations helps a clinic judge your experience quickly.
