Job Summary
Associate Manager – Medical Communications and Content Solutions (MCCS), Oncology is one of the roles within the Global Medical Communications and Content (MCC) group. The position aims to create high-quality and scientific information about medical products to be used by patients across the globe.
The selected candidate will participate in the development of various external medical documents, including publications, congress materials, education, and digital documents. Under the supervision of other members of the team, he/she will take part in the development of evidence-based communications strategies concerning oncology medicines.
Key Responsibilities
Create a range of content for medical purposes in global health such as abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters and presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, and summaries.
Create science communication content like slide decks, medical education content, infographics, social media content, videos, and any other multimedia content.
Perform research, organization, interpretation, and compilation of scientific and clinical data for creating content.
Perform quality checks for accuracy and regulatory and medical guideline adherence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as graphics, compliance, and statistics to produce top-notch outputs.
Work closely with the stakeholders and the senior staff members to make sure that the scope, timelines, and standards of quality for the projects are met.
Track the progress of the projects and anticipate any potential issues. Help solve the issues with the help of the guidelines.
Ensure that all the deliverables are up-to-the-mark and delivered on time.
Keep yourself up-to-date with the latest tools, including generative AI tools.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
MPharm
PharmD
PhD
MBBS/ MD
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
Pharmaceutical medicine
Medical affairs, or
Medical communications
Experience in:
Medical writing
Academic writing, or
Content development
Within pharma, biotech, CRO, or agency settings.
Good knowledge of medical communications, regulatory compliance, and science communication.
Good writing and speaking skills in English.
Good analytical abilities to interpret complicated scientific information.
Good skills in collaboration with global team members from different backgrounds.
Good ability to perform tasks autonomously but aligned with the interests of senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in oncology or other therapeutic areas.
Experience with multimedia and omnichannel content development.
Knowledge and familiarity with digital technology and emerging tools used in content creation.
Work or study experience outside one’s country or internationally.
Flexibility with respect to adaptation to different tools, platforms, and communication modes.
Salaries and Benefits
Competitive remuneration package provided by Pfizer according to the standards of the pharmaceutical industry and depending on the years of experience. The salary for this role is INR 10-12 LPA.
