 Job Summary 

The Clinical Data Manager helps with assigned studies. The main goal of the Clinical Data Manager I is to make sure trial data stays quality and consistent. You will work with data-management experts to review and clean study data. You will also fix mistakes, check data across systems and make study reports. The Clinical Data Manager I must follow all client rules, company steps and laws for data management from the start to the end of a study.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Clean and review data for your assigned studies.

  • Find, check and fix mistakes in trial data.

  • Run data checks to make sure all study systems match.

  • Work closely with the Lead Data Manager while the study is running.

  • Help build and test the database when you are asked.

  • Help design eCRF and work on database tasks.

  • Create study metrics, updates and data-management reports.

  • Keep study documents organized and help with saving them.

  • Follow all Excelya and client SOPs, rules and laws.

  • Use the clinical data-management standards during the whole study.

  • Do office tasks like training and updating documents.

  • Help with any data-management tasks your boss gives you.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a science subject is preferred.

  • Good backgrounds include Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences or related fields.

  • Understand research and how a clinical trial works.

  • One or more years of Data Management experience or a mix of education and training.

 Skills Required 

  • Must know data-management rules and the best ways to work.

  • Understand ICH-GCP and rules from the ICH, EU and FDA.

  • Should know how to use trial databases and data-management tools.

  • Understanding of how data moves how to review it and how to fix errors.

  • Should know about eCRF design and testing databases.

  • Must understand the steps of a clinical trial.

  • Good at thinking through problems and finding answers.

  • Must pay close attention to small details and data quality.

  • Good at talking and writing to others.

  • Able to work with Lead Data Managers and study teams.

  • Good at using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office tools

  • Must be professional, honest. Follow all rules.
