Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Data Coordinator, you'll sit right at the heart of clinical data management, making sure trial data stays clean, consistent, and trustworthy from start to finish. Day to day, that means things like:

  • Putting together and reviewing clinical study documents
  • Writing up data entry guidelines so everyone's on the same page
  • Building edit specifications and testing plans
  • Running UAT on screen designs and edit checks
  • Chasing down and resolving data discrepancies
  • Supporting IWRS-related work
  • Coordinating SAE reconciliation
  • Helping with database lock and closing out studies
  • Keeping master data files organized
  • Pulling together clinical data management reports

You'll be working closely with different teams, programmers, data managers, and more, to keep everything accurate and audit-ready.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in clinical data management, pharma or CRO background preferred
  • Comfortable owning Data Management Plans for trials
  • Experience with documentation, validation planning, UAT (both screens and edit checks), and handling clinical queries
  • Able to review system designs against the specs and rules the programmers set
  • A sharp eye for spotting bad or inconsistent data, like catching an age entry that's outside the 18–65 range it should fall in
  • Confident raising data queries and following through until they're actually resolved
  • Organized enough to keep master data files properly indexed and filed
  • Someone who keeps trial documentation audit-ready, always
  • Comfortable reviewing the eTMF to make sure nothing's missing or out of place

Qualification 

You'll need a Pharmacy or Science degree at minimum, a post-graduate degree in either is a plus.

Salary Structure 

Around 5 years in, you're looking at roughly ₹8.2–10.3 lakh a year at Sun Pharma. It'll shift a bit depending on your experience, skillset, and where you're based.
