Job Summary

The Data Processing Consultant works under the Research and Insights Center of Excellence, where they will have the mandate of supporting any market research study that has quantified aspects. They will be tasked with performing data processing, analysis, and reporting of any studies that involve the healthcare sector.

The candidate will participate in any project, right from the start, through to completion. This includes processing raw survey data to generate valuable insights from the same using statistics and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks will include analyzing and processing data collected through quantitative market research methods using software such as SPSS, WinCros, and DisplayR. The candidate will be responsible for data preparation, validation, and structuring to ensure correct data analysis.

The individual will conduct statistical analysis by means of various methods like segmentation, factor analysis, correspondence analysis, and significance testing. The candidate will be responsible for data interpretation and will make sure that analysis results meet project needs.

Another task will include the creation of automated reports using Excel, macros, or special software for report generation. The individual will be responsible for creating tables and visualizing data in reports.

The individual will need to create ad hoc reports and customized data extractions according to client or project needs. The individual will be responsible for coordination with project managers, data managers, sales departments, and clients themselves.

Moreover, project management tasks will be a part of the duties of the candidate, such as working with deadlines, handling many assignments at once, etc.

Qualification and Skill Requirement

Education- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:

  • Life Sciences

  • Economics

  • Statistics

  • Computer Science, or

  • Related discipline

The position requires hands-on experience in data processing in the market research domain. Healthcare market research experience is a bonus.

Experience in working with SPSS and/or WinCros software is essential, including syntax knowledge. Experience in using DisplayR software is necessary.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including macro programming, are needed. Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint is also required for reporting purposes.

The position requires experience in data analysis, tabulation and automation of reporting. Some knowledge in programming, including Python, is preferable.

Skills in statistical methods such as segmentation, factor analysis, and significance testing are essential.

The position requires strong analytical skills. The ability to deal with huge datasets is an asset. The candidates must be able to work simultaneously on several tasks, prioritising them correctly and working accurately under time pressure.

Professional fluency in English is required.
