 Job Summary   

This Pharmacist role is based in Delhi and centres on supporting safe and effective medication use. The position provides accurate dispensing of prescriptions, counselling of patients and caregivers on medications, monitoring of medication therapy, maintenance of pharmacy records, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, inventory management and supporting compliance and quality related activities within the pharmacy department.

 Main Responsibilities 

  • Dispense prescription medications appropriately.

  • Provide counselling and education to patients and caregivers on pharmaceutical therapy.

  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine pharmaceutical treatment and pharmacological regimens.

  • Adhere to all rules, regulations and professional standards.

  • Engage in training, ongoing learning and professional development initiatives.

  • Support activities to increase the quality of pharmacy function.

 
Educational Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognised university

  • Valid pharmacist license in compliance with applicable state or regional standards.

 
Skills Needed 

  • Good knowledge of pharmacology and drug management.

  • Ability to detect and manage problems associated to medications.

  • Able to function well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Ability to work with doctors, nurses and other medical staff.
