Job Summary
The Medical Information Writer creates accurate and easy to read responses, letters, FAQs and other technical documents for health-related questions. The job includes doing research looking at information updating old documents and making complex medical data into simple text. The writer also checks the quality follows company rules and the clients needs keeps information private and follows information and privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
Do research using Medline and other important databases.
Write information letters and technical documents using trusted scientific sources.
Turn complicated information into clear and short written answers.
Improve old medical information documents with the latest facts.
Make sure documents are correct easy to read technically. Have a smooth flow.
Check the quality of your work and the work of others in the team.
Follow all the laws and professional standards for medical information services.
Keep company, client and personal information safe and private.
Follow rules about privacy and company methods.
Talk with clients, customers, co-workers and managers.
Do medical information tasks when needed.
Educational Qualification
A Pharm.D degree is needed.
Preferred Skills
Good at writing and creating medical content.
Good at using computers and digital tools.
Strong skills in planning organizing and setting priorities.
Ability to work well in a team that's professional and works together.
Ability to understand and follow rules, client needs and privacy rules.
