This role is for a Pharm.D Physician Assistant based in Serilingampally, Hyderabad. The person will assist doctors during consultations and help with managing medication and treatment plans. This includes helping with counselling, finishing documents, and working very closely with nursing staff, lab teams, and pharmacy teams. The job needs someone who knows about medicines and has communication skills. This position is good for people who have 0 to 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist doctors when they meet with patients and during treatments.
Look at the health records of patients, the medicines they are taking and the plans for their treatment.
Tell patients about their medicines. Give them information about the drugs they are taking.
Watch how patients are doing and let doctors know about any changes.
Work with the nurses, the lab staff, and the pharmacy team.
Keep the patient records up to date. Make sure all the medical notes are correct.
Help check prescriptions and make sure the way medicines are given is safe.
Teach patients about their treatment and how important it is to take their medicines as directed.
Join the checks of patients and talk about medical cases with the team.
Always follow the rules of the hospital and the health laws every time.
Educational Qualification
A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) qualification from a recognized institution is required.
Around 0 to 5 years of experience in hospital or clinical practice is preferred, though freshers can also apply.
Skills Required
Excellent pharmacology knowledge and clinical practice knowledge.
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well within a healthcare team is present.
Basic computer knowledge is present and medical documentation skills are present.
Knowledge of hospital information systems is an added advantage.
