Job Summary
Regional Medical Advisor I (RMA I) will be in charge of implementing Novo Nordisk's medical strategy on a global and national level. The position acts as the scientific liaison for the company, interacting with external healthcare contacts such as KOLs, physicians, and diabetes experts.
A good understanding of medicine, scientific communication skills, and experience building long-term relationships are required for the job. The candidate will collaborate with various teams within the company to gain insights and develop brand and medical education strategies.

Key Responsibilities
The candidate shall be responsible for executing regional medical plans in line with the National Medical Affairs strategy through conversion of strategy into initiatives and outcomes.
The candidate shall create and maintain scientific partnerships with KOLs, diabetes experts, and other healthcare professionals to engage in scientific exchange and advocacy.
The candidate shall participate in scientific conversations, attend scientific events, and interface with healthcare professionals in order to obtain information about clinical practice and medical needs.
It is expected that the candidate will communicate these insights efficiently among the internal stakeholder group in order to make decisions based on data.
Responsibilities include working together with the marketing and sales team in order to contribute to the branding strategy through the provision of medical insights about product positioning, therapy options, and market conditions.
This includes the development and implementation of medical education programs and scientific training for healthcare professionals as well as for the internal field and commercial teams.
It is expected that the candidate will provide scientific insights to internal stakeholders by analyzing clinical data, explaining product labels, and developing therapeutic positioning strategies.
It is required to conduct all the activities in compliance with regulations and ethical principles.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: MBBS/MD degree from an accredited institute
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs is needed
Medical Science Liaison/Regional Medical Advisor experience is preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic areas like diabetes and metabolic disorders is needed, along with the ability to interpret clinical data and medical guidelines.
Candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills and should have demonstrated the ability to network with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders.
Analytical and clinical judgment skills are essential to evaluate medical data.
Good planning and implementation skills are needed to handle multiple projects at one time with emphasis on details.
Proactive and adaptive skills are also needed along with an ethical approach towards work.
