Job Summary 

The Research Associate I job at Baxter is to help with standard a lab. The job is doing experiments looking at results and writing them down. It also involves the care of lab tools and equipment. The job is about following the rules and safety steps that are already there. The job involves working with scientists and other teams to help improve products, test them, and continue to improve them. Key Responsibilities 

  • Run laboratory experiments and research activities by following the set protocols and procedures.

  • Get the samples, reagents, materials and equipment ready for the research activities you are given.

  • Collect, study the data in a way that is fast and correct.

  • Keep all laboratory records, reports and research documentation neat and accurate.

  • Fix laboratory instruments and equipment when they need it.

  • Follow all the rules for laboratory safety, quality and Good Laboratory Practice.

  • Help with making methods testing them and making research projects work better.

  • Spot any problems during experiments. Tell your senior team members about the findings or technical challenges.

  • Work together with scientists and other teams to finish research projects on time.

  • Keep the laboratory clean organized. Stocked with enough inventory, for the research activities.

  • Join in on ways to make things better and help with any research activities your supervisor asks you to do.

 

Qualifications 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a similar area.

  • Experience in a laboratory or research setting is desired, based on the project needs.

  • Capability to follow set procedures quality rules, safety measures and legal requirements.

  • Good skills in analyzing information solving problems and focusing on accuracy and small details.

Preferred Skills 

  • Practical experience in a laboratory and conducting experiments.

  • Familiarity with lab tools using equipment and handling repairs.

  • Skills in analyzing data, understanding results and writing reports.

  • Ability to speak clearly and work well with scientists and other teams.

  • Capacity to handle tasks and finish projects on time.

  • Skill in using Microsoft Office and software used for labs or analyzing data.

  • Focus on details interest, in science and readiness to learn new methods.
