Job Summary
The Senior Data Manager, Clinical Data Sciences and Management role in Chennai is about looking after clinical data management for one or more clinical trials. In this job you will. Watch over clinical data handle data-quality tasks make cleaning reports and help, with data-management plans. You must make sure all data is correct, full and sent out on time. You will work closely with teams and experts to make sure clinical trial data operations are fast follow the rules and stay high-quality.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate clinical data-management activities across assigned studies. Make sure deliverables are completed on time.
Look at trial data to find problems missing information and possible quality issues.
Keep data-management documents, trackers, specifications and reports related to the study.
Do data reviews. Help fix problems by working with the right people.
Work with statistical, medical, technology and other teams during the whole study process.
Help create and put into action data-management plans and related steps.
Watch data-cleaning work. Make sure problems are fixed by the set deadlines.
Help with checking the database, testing and getting ready for study steps.
Make sure all data work follows the standard operating procedures good clinical practice rules, legal rules and quality rules.Inform project stakeholders about how the study's going, any risks and data quality problems.
Help find ways to improve processes that make data better and work faster.
Keep study records correct. Help make sure data work is ready, for inspections.
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare, statistics, data management or a related discipline.
8+ years experience in clinical data management or clinical research especially for senior-level responsibilities.
Skills
Understanding of trial data workflows, data review, discrepancy management, database activities and quality-control processes.
Familiar, with GCP, clinical research standards and regulatory requirements.
Have analytical and problem‑solving abilities that helps to identify data inconsistencies and support effective resolutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams.
Knowledge on data‑management systems, data‑review tools, Excel and relevant technology platforms.
