 Job Summary  

This position is based in Bangalore, within IQVIA's Site Activation team. As a Site Activation Specialist 1, you will pick up country level tasks tied to feasibility, site identification, and site start up. You will act as the single point of contact for assigned sites, working under general supervision. The role also involves follow documents, project timelines, and site performance to keep studies on time.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as the central coordinator for assigned sites, Site Activation Managers, and project teams.

  • Follow SOPs and work instructions to keep quality and timelines on schedule.

  • Carry out feasibility, site identification, start up, and site activation activities.

  • Assign completed documents with sites and internal project team members.

  • Prepare site documents and check them for completeness and accuracy.

  • Keep internal systems, databases, and tracking tools updated with project details.

  • Review site performance measures and share feedback with management.

  • Help build and agree on project plans and timelines with the team.

  • Set up monitoring steps and backup plans when needed.

  • Update team members once feasibility, site ID, and related documents are complete.

  • Track and follow up on documents like CDAs, SIFs, ICFs, and Investigator Packs.

  • Offer knowledge and insights to Site Activation Managers during timeline planning.

  • Run quality checks on documents received from sites.

  • Stay in direct contact with sponsors on specific project needs, when required.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.

 Skills Required 

  • 3 years of clinical research or other relevant experience, or an equal mix of education and experience.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role is required alongside the 3 years of clinical research experience.

  • Good understanding of local and international clinical research regulations.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage documents, systems, and timelines.

  • Ability to work under general supervision while handling routine to moderate challenges.

  • Good communication skills to coordinate across sites, sponsors, and internal teams.
